Celebrate.
December 7, 2007 8:39 pm celebrate, loveYesterday me and my wife went out to celebrate our “dating anniversary”. “Uhn?” - you may think - “why to celebrate a ‘dating anniversary’ if you’re married?”
Here goes my simple tip: Celebrate.
It all begins on that dec 6th, when I knew I would like to live all my life on her side. We knew that God was joining us for a beautiful romance and on that day I ask her to marry me!
“Uhn?” - you think again - “Didn’t you tell that you start to date on that day?”
Exactly. But I also told that I knew I would like to live all my life on her side.
We married two years and four months ago, but happy for six! And every “dating anniversary”, marriage anniversary, or birthday are a new reason to thank God for the wonders of this years…
Have you already looked through your window at morning, saw that it was a beautiful day and thanked God for this?
Celebrate.

Aw, that’s really a sweet post. LOL
You’re right, we should thank God for lots of things that we take for granted.

No, because there is no god.

Unfortunately so many go through life without really seeing or hearing the presence of God all around them. Too many are wrapped up in the daily distractions of life and miss the opportunities to “celebrate” in thanksgiving the gifts we have been given. I hope this wisdom you have shared will give pause to some to reflect on those God given gifts (graces) we take for granted every day.

Ralho, can you prove it?
You really think that all the universe came from nothing?

This is exactly the kind of stuff I want to read on the Ubuntu blogroll… Thanks.

The god debate is tired, but I agree about celebrating!
Celebrate with the people you love and do it TODAY. A lesson taught to me by a widow of September 11th!

Great post. My wife and I knew within a week that we wanted to get married. We were just discussing that yesterday. We don’t celebrate the day we started dating, but we remember it each time it passes by and I count the years since then as well as since we where married.
