I bought an ogg player
I’ve just bought an ogg player (the box says MP3 Player, but I will use it to play ogg…). As many others, it doesn’t say that it plays ogg, but it do (look the picture above).
Funny part: Look the page of manual (translated below)…
Red part: Important: For unknown reasons some Windows XP doesn’t open automatically the window Removable Disk.
Go figure…

Yeah, it’s definitely a S1 player.
I have a two-years-old one which claims that it plays ogg (but it doesn’t)
I’m happy they DO play ogg now!

A while ago after seeing this post, i’ve emailed my dad to buy me an ogg portable player… and he bouth me one that says it playes mp3/wma… kinda dissapointed… it’s nice but i haven’t even connected it to my pc since i received it
But there is still hope…. will try it out later today… hopefuly will play ogg files as well xD

I just did a search on OGG format and I found your web page.
I found your player’s picture and it looked a little bit to my old MP3 player.
So I converted an MP3 file to OGG and tried to play it with my player.
It worked!! plus, the original MP3 file was 12.6 Mb and the OGG file is only 7.7 Mb.
